You’ve read all about these places – now prepare to visit some of the most amazing and spectacular places on this continent by motorcycle. This is a two-centre trip allowing time to fully appreciate the wonders that will behold you – and with Las Vegas on the itinerary, you’re bound to have lots of fun too!
The tour begins in Phoenix, Arizona, where you meet the guide, pick up your bikes and prepare for the ride to Las Vegas, Nevada. Here you are based for the first few days allowing you the opportunity to ride and explore places such as Death Valley, one of the lowest places in the western hemisphere, named by gold-seekers, some of whom died crossing the valley during the 1849 gold rush, or even Area 51 for a bit of UFO spotting, and of course play the casinos and enjoy everything that Las Vegas has to offer.
You will then move on to Flagstaff to explore northern Arizona including the famous Route 66, and where you are "down the road" from one of the world’s most impressive natural wonders, the Grand Canyon. Flagstaff is also an ideal base from which to explore the red rocks of Sedona, Meteor Crater, the San Francisco Peaks, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, the Wupatki ruins, Sunset Crater, and numerous Native American communities.
You then return to Phoenix to complete this amazing one week adventure.
